  11. I've seen several folks in this group complain of the same problem I'm having, 
  12. but I haven't found the solution yet. The problem is as follows:

  14. All works fine with my USR Sportster 14.4 Vi modem EXCEPT that Quicklink II 
  15. randomly drops the line when playing voicemail messages. This is extremely 
  16. annoying as I am trying to use it for a small business. USR, as it appears 
  17. most of you already know, has been of ZERO help. Out of three notes I faxed 
  18. them all I got in return was a bogus ten page (waste of my fax paper) fax that 
  19. simply listed all the info I could receive with fax inquiry -- USELESS!
  20.  
  21. Can anyone PLEASE save me the grief of returning this thing by telling me how 
  22. to resolve -- or advise me to return it anyway?
